Regulatory Compliance
Many regulations, including the (EU)2016/425, are related to a chemical protective coverall, and standards follow the principle of gradual improvement. The top PPE regulation, EN ISO 13688, includes a general requirement for all types of protective clothing. And beneath that, each type of coverall has its own set of regulations that define the primary function of protection, performance requirements, and test method.
Aside from the whole garment, the materials used to make protective clothing are governed by EN 14325. It specifies the test methods, requirements, and classification system for each material factor. Fabric, seams, joins, and assemblages are among the materials used. To meet all of the requirements for a protective coverall, you must go through four layers of regulation.
